Well, I was always a Betty guy myself. Even over Wilma.<\/p>\n

But this is a standard comic book trope nowadays. Flash marries Iris. Flash dies. Spidey marries Gwen. Spidey reboots. Reboots again. Superman (yes he did) married Lois. Reboot. Superman dies.<\/p>\n

So Archie is going there too. Archie marries Veronica. Archie dies. Reboot.<\/p>\n

This is how I imagine it would turn out:<\/p>\n

Archie Dies<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

1) <\/span>A & B in kissing clinch, her hair tousled, him sweating. from shoulders up – bare. “Archie! Archie! This has to end! She’s my best friend!”<\/p>\n

\n

2) <\/span>Archie leaving liquour store<\/p>\n

\n

3) <\/span>Archie with bottle of Jack Daniel’s driving a Fiat Spider (vintage ’79) along mountain roads. License RNNY<\/p>\n

\n

Thinks as he drinks:<\/p>\n

\n

“I never should have done it. I’m worthless\u2026\u00a0a \u2026 a kept man!<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

4) <\/span>speeding, passes sign: “Bunny Crossing Ahead”<\/p>\n

\n

“I miss the thrill of the chase…\u00a0 now that Ronnie has me all to herself she just lolls around in bed all day!<\/p>\n

\n

5) <\/span>“But, I\u2026<\/p>\n

\n

Looks at open wallet<\/span> iPhone while he drives.<\/p>\n
