Nepal Hills painting. Done!

Well, finally. It did take about a week of looking and one or two strokes of the brush – from the last version. There’s an odd pinkish tone to the top in this photo, which is reflected light from a very too-close ceiling. The green at the bottom left is really a translucent windsor blue over green. Not as dead a shadow as it seems here.

  1. Very beautiful Doug. And, of course, it would be so much larger in real life that the impact would be that much more striking.

    1. Thanks. Yes, it’s more dramatic real, and the surface is more interesting.
